TriLynx has implemented the NovaStar system to monitor bridges and other infrastructure. The Bridge Monitor is a cloud-hosted system that provides specific data displays for bridges and other water crossings. Station telemetry is implemented to transmit data using radio, satellite, or cellular communications. Critical bridge data are monitored, with alarm notifications sent during events and data visualization to monitor trends. Critical data include:
- bridge movement
- stream bed level
- active scour
- water level and flow
