History
TriLynx was founded in 2014 (Fort Collins, CO) by Markus Ritsch and Steve Malers when the NovaStar5 (software platform was purchased from HydroLynx Systems, Inc. (HydroLynx). NovaStar (also called NovaStar5) software is an industry-leader for real-time environmental data collection, management, and notification, with specific focus on flood warning solutions. NovaStar supports integration with stations, sensors, and communications from various companies and government agencies. In addition to the NovaStar product suite, TriLynx provies the scalable NovaStar Cloud product for smaller real-time monitoring and flood warning systems, and Bridge Monitor to monitor bridges and other infrastructure.
In 2022, TriLynx moved its office to Severance, Colorado. TriLynx is co-located with Water & Earth Technologies, the Open Water Foundation, and ETI Instruments, which facilitates collaboration on products, services, and new solutions.
In 2024, Steve assumed ownership of TriLynx.
