TriLynx has developed a programming interface for the HydroLynx Systems, Inc. model 5096 data collection unit (DCU). FieldTech uses a standard Windows text editor to interact with the 5096. Programming commands can be conveniently issued to the DCU and a show-all feature allows for an existing DCU program to be loaded into the text editor. Configuration files can be saved to a field laptop hard drive for later reference, future re-programming of a DCU or to archive back at the office.
